Anne Robinson Joins Kinaxis as Chief Strategy Officer

Earlier this year, INFORMS past president Anne G. Robinson joined Ottawa-based Kinaxis as its chief strategy officer. Kinaxis is a recognized leader in digital supply chain management for concurrent planning. Dr. Robinson brings many years of supply chain executive experience to Kinaxis to help accelerate strategy development and drive customer value, in addition to identifying new industry opportunities. Dr. Robinson spent seven years with Verizon, most recently as Executive Director, Global Supply Chain Strategy, Analytics and Systems. Prior to that role, she worked at Cisco Systems where she managed several advanced analytics teams.

Dr. Robinson served as the 19th president of INFORMS and was instrumental in the creation of INFORMS online magazine Analytics. She is recipient of the 2015 George E. Kimball Medal and chaired the 2018 Franz Edelman Award Competition. She currently serves as series editor of Editor's Cut, a comprehensive online multimedia collection examining important research areas in operations research and analytics.
