Commentary—Simulation of Algorithms for Performance Analysis

This is a commentary and a complement to the McGeoch’s feature article. Certain topics of current interest related to modeling, statistical output analysis, efficiency improvement, and random number generation, for stochastic discrete-event simulation is presented.
