Technical Note—Parameter Estimation from Cross-Sectional Observations on an Elementary Queuing System

This note reports on and compares the asymptotic sampling properties of several alternative estimators for the parameters of a simple M/M/1 queuing system, assuming that data are available on a random sample of identical systems.
