The Fourth Annual Meeting of the Society was held at the Sheraton Part Hotel in Washington, D.C. on May 10 and 11, 1956. There were 54 contributed papers on the program, and 22 invited speakers participated in the sessions. There were 497 registrations, or which 280 were by members of the society and 217 by nonmembers.
