Letter to the Editor—Comments on “Economic Lot Sizes with Seasonal Demand”

In an article in the January–February 1959 issue of Operations Research, Mark B. Schupack has supplied harmonic analysis to the problem of determining economic lot sizes in the face of seasonal demand. While the paper is a contribution to the theoretical analysis of the problem, it seems of limited use from a practical point of view.
