In this issue, Keeney proposes that decision analysis should focus on training people to be better decision makers and discusses implications of this proposal. Other contributions include articles on preference models for health quality outcomes, a new method for assessing multiattribute preference when preference independence does not hold, and an analysis of bargaining between a buyer and a seller where the seller must also search for their next most attractive option.
