Multiple-Origin Single-Destination Transit Routing
Abstract
This note reports the second (computational) stage of an Operational Research project whose first stage [“Postal codes locate special transit demand” (1978), Logistics and transportation review 14, p. 90] was in a sense a resounding success. The work reported here converts a slow-and-dirty analysis into a quick-and-clean one. The importance of this conversion is more than aesthetic, as will be explained.
