2001: Can Management Science Keep Up?
Abstract
For the remainder of the century, business will be entering new territory and encountering new perils, seizing new opportunities, and challenging new competitors. It is not sufficient that we learn a new language; what will be required is that we think and count in it as well. Whether the American corporation can cope with the changes to come will depend in large part on how perceptive, how flexible, and how dynamic the Management Sciences are in anticipating and accommodating those changes.
