20/30 Hindsight

This column is new with this issue. It will appear occasionally and will contain neither theory, nor applications, nor implementation, but will show what it is like to do MS/OR. We will be seeking the insight that can be gained from hindsight. To begin, the danger of believing everything you read—even in OR literature—is illustrated with “The Case of the Mathematical Manager.”
