Note: On the Pooling of Services

It is customary for study books on management science/operations research to present in the chapter on queuing theory the formulas for one service station (M/M/1). The simple formulas for the two-servers case (M/M/2) that are presented here are not included in those books. I found that presenting the students with the two-servers case as a separate set of simple formulas was very helpful.
