Editorial: Two New Features at Interfaces

In order to further its primary mission of serving those interested in MS/OR practice, Interfaces is undertaking two significant initiatives. Each of these involve new kinds of participation by the practice community and thus are worthy of special discussion. One of these is an Internet complement to the printed Interfaces. The other is a new feature in the printed Interfaces that I hope will make reports of significant actual practice available years sooner than they are currently. I will discuss each of these innovations in some detail and how you can participate in it.
