Dirty Hands and the Ivory Tower

An essay about handling the contingency during a rotating strike in Air Canada. Extraordinary situation was handled well by a group of inexperienced, but intelligent and enthusiastic, amateurs. It helped also the Head Office management to better understand and appreciate the real situations and difficulties involved in maintaining the continuity of operations.
