Abstract
Under the aegis of the NATO Science Committee, the Special Programme Panel on Systems Science has established annual prizes for outstanding publications in systems science which have appeared in the preceding three year period. The fourth set of prizes will be announced towards the end of 1978 for papers published between 1st January, 1975 and 31st December, 1977, inclusive.
