On the Status Quo Sets Induced by the Raiffa Solution to the Two-Person Bargaining Problem

We prove that the status quo sets induced by the Raiffa Solution to the two-person Bargaining Problem are curves, except when the bargaining domain is rectangular. This property is used in a separate paper by Livne (Livne, Z. 1987. Axiomatic characterization at the Raiffa solution to the Nash bargaining problem. Columbia Business School. Forthcoming in Oper.
