Interpolation of the Renewal Function

Some useful conditions are explored for determining a renewal process from knowledge of the renewal function H(t) at values H(h), H(2h), … for some h > 0. Furthermore, these conditions are used for expressing H(t) as an infinite interpolation series involving H(h), H(2h), …. The results are useful for estimation problems in replacement and reliability involving attribute observations of renewal processes.
