The Unpublished Schedule of Urban Peak Period Traffic

Published Online:https://doi.org/10.1287/trsc.10.3.300

The effect that such an underlying daily schedule may have upon the stochastic properties of urban traffic demand is discussed, and the existence of such a schedule is investigated empirically for five locations.
