Abstract
The paper discusses the computer construction of the monthly rosters for aircrews. It is shown how the method of Ford-Fulkerson for maximizing the flow over a capacitated network can be usefully employed to solve the problem. The practical difficulties of implementing the approach in a real environment are discussed and ways are suggested to overcome them.
