Letter to the Editor—Solution to an Integral Equation in the Study of Semi-Poisson Headway Distributions

Recently Wasielewski [Trans. Sci. 8, 237–247, (1974)] fitted some data to the semi-Poisson headway distribution. We show that the fundamental integral equation in that paper can be solved in closed form.
