The Operations/Management Sciences Audit
Abstract
If the key to successful auditing is an experienced person or team, then the creation and use of checklists of mandatory interview subjects and functions must be the audit's handmaiden. Perhaps the most difficult part of operations auditing for the Management Scientist is approach through the behavioral rather than the quantitative dimension. In addition, this has turned out to be an excellent vehicle for training students, as well as a source of valuable case material.
