Published Online:https://doi.org/10.1287/inte.8.4.76

Business supposedly is using MIS for economic benefits, but due to a lack of theory, the justification of information systems is on shaky ground. This publication should be of particular interest to the academician who wants to teach and the practitioner who wants to learn about the state of knowledge in information systems.
