Planning Tire Production

An outline of the tire production process is given. A planning model is discussed and an application is made to the planning of tire production (both long and short term). Planning for finished tires, green tires and for components is included as the model is developed. A multi-item production planning program is presented for finished tires and this is expanded to an assembly model with precedences for green tires and for components.
