Multi-Item Lot Size Scheduling by Heuristic Part II: With Variable Resources

In Part II, the CLSP Heuristic of Part I is extended to include variable capacity constraints—in this case the ability to adjust workforce levels and to employ overtime. The paper concludes with computational results for both the fixed and variable capacity heuristics.
