OM Forum—The Operations of Well-Being: An Operational Take on Happiness, Equity, and Sustainability

First, I am greatly indebted to the MSOM Society for being allowed to join the ranks of the MSOM Fellows in 2019. It is tradition that newly-inducted fellows contribute an article to MSOM; a few years late, this is that article. I am grateful to the editor-in-chief, Georgia Perakis, and to the associate editor, for helpful comments on the initial version. Thanks also to the organizers of the 2021 conference of the Decision Sciences Institute for the invitation to deliver a keynote, which provided the additional prompt to finally prepare this manuscript.
