Authors of works published within any INFORMS’ journal or book series can sign up for online publication notification, citation alerts, as well as new content alerts for any INFORMS publication.
To receive notification when your article has been published online, simply create a profile for yourself on INFORMS PubsOnline. Follow these steps to create your profile.
Go to https://pubsonline.informs.org and click Log In from the upper right corner of the page. A Login to your account dialog box should appear, as shown below. Click Register beneath the blue Login button, which will open the INFORMS Self Service Center.
Within the INFORMS Self Service Center, enter the required information (all fields indicated with an asterisk) and click the Submit button to complete your registration.
Online publication notice will be sent automatically to all authors who are registered users of INFORMS PubsOnline.
Citation Alerts
To receive notification when your article has been cited by another INFORMS publication:
Login to PubsOnline and navigate to the article for which you wish to set up a Citation Alert. Select Track Citations from the Tools menu on the left side of the screen for that article.
You can manage your Citation Alerts at any time from your Personal Settings page. To reach your Personal Settings, select Profile from the menu that expands beneath your name as shown below.
From the Personal Settings page, select Alerts, then Citation alerts.
Select any alerts you wish to remove and click Delete or the trashcan icon.
Content Alerts
To receive alerts when new content is published in any INFORMS journal or book series:
Login to PubsOnline and select Profile from the menu that expands beneath your name as shown below.
From the Personal Settings page, select Alerts. Click the checkbox next to all journals and book series for which you wish to receive an alert. Choose the frequency you wish to receive these alerts (daily, weekly, monthly) and the email format (plain text or HTML), then click the Submit button. You can modify your choices at any time using this page.
