ORCID

Effective January 1, 2017, INFORMS will require an Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) for all authors publishing articles in INFORMS journals.

ORCID iDs provide a unique and persistent digital identifier that allows authors to easily and reliably link their unique identity with their research, scholarship, and innovations. The ability to connect research and researchers enhances the scientific discovery process and improves the efficiency of research funding and collaboration.

Authors who do not already have an ORCID iD will be prompted to register during their next submission. Registration takes only a few seconds and is seamlessly integrated into each journal’s ScholarOne manuscript submission site. Alternatively, researchers can register directly for an ORCID iD here.

INFORMS is proud to join the growing list of publishers committed to adopting ORCID iDs in their publishing process. Learn more about ORCID for individual researchers.
