What's Wrong with Current O.R. Curricula: Round 2

Encouraged by the obvious enthusiasm generated at the Philadelphia TIMS/ORSA meeting, the ORSA Student Affairs Committee scheduled a second round of debate on the intriguing question, “What's wrong with current OR curricula” for the November 1977 TIMS/ORSA meeting at Atlanta. An announcement was sent to all schools with an accredited graduate program in OR or MS to solicit student representatives. The response was very good and the panel selected included: Janet Showers, Columbia University; Nancy Bethel, Virginia Polytechnic Institute; Gene Ramsay, Georgia Institute of Technology; Marc Goodfriend, Northwestern University; Al Jones, Purdue University; Ilana Licht, University of Miami; and Howard Singer, Cornell University.
