Preface to the Special Issue on Behavioral Queueing Science: The Need for a Multidisciplinary Approach

The publication of this special issue would not have been possible without the good will, strong dedication, and exemplary efforts of many editors and reviewers. The authors thank Editor-in-Chief John Birge and Area Editors Amy Ward and Itai Gurvich for their support in deciding to launch the special issue. Second, three regular area editors handled articles for the special issue in addition to three of us (Table 2). Third, 28 associate editors (Table 3) and 65 reviewers (Table 4) participated in the review of one or more articles. The authors also thank the anonymous associate editors and reviewers who reviewed articles submitted by the special issue editors.
