Performance Analysis and Capacity Planning of a Landing Gear Shop

A closed queuing network performance model was developed at American Airlines to evaluate the performance of large complex flow shops. The model has been successfully applied to predict performance and to estimate capacity of the landing gear shop and the engine blade and vane shop.
