Published Online:https://doi.org/10.1287/inte.27.2.44

The author disects a National Public Radio report based on a survey of sex life in America claiming that men had far more sex partners than women. Inconsistency and bias in usual interpretation of such surveys is clearly shown. Special attention is paid to the use of wrong mathematical models and assumptions.
