The Intangibles of Implementation

The “successful” implementation of Operations Research/ Management Science has two sides, an objective and a subjective side. Often the literature does not deal with the subjective or intangible components of implementation because they tend to be nonquantifiable and difficult to describe in a “cookbook” fashion. This paper identifies six intangibles of MS implementation with examples from the author's experience.
