Précis—An Operations Research Approach to the Management of Government Cost-Plus-Award- Fee Contracts

This paper, written by authors with experience as both government and contractor managers of CPAF contracts, sets out a simple quantitative model that serves to introduce some objective checkpoints to aid the project manager and government representative in achieving optimum performance under a subjective incentive system.
