A Transport Planning Model for Primary Distribution

In this article, the author describes a multi-stage computer-based package for the analysis of distribution from central store to regional depots. Two possible modes of operation are outlined and the package's use as a test-bed for future operating scenarios is described. Two applications and a statement of the associated savings are included.
