Editorial Statement

INFORMS Analytics Collections (formerly Editor's Cut) is an editorially-reviewed publication that addresses topics of interest to both academics and practitioners. It publishes multimedia content that explores relevant analytical insights, issues and trends which relate to important public and private sector applications which are enhanced by the use of operations research and management science. In order to broaden their impact, Collections are published as openly.

Content that demonstrates (a) the impact of operations research and management science, and (b) the effective integration of research and practice, is especially welcome. The extensive use of diverse multimedia content from various sources is strongly encouraged. Each Collection should include an integrative article that introduces the topic, possibly includes a brief history of related work, and links the academic and practice content. Content should be very recent, for example predominantly from the previous three years, highly accessible, and of direct relevance to solving practical problems.

The Editorial Board welcomes the submission of preliminary proposals, and will work with potential developers of a Collection to refine the content and focus the overall contribution. We can also help with resolution of copyright issues.
